Congratulations for the 2025/2026 Season

On Saturday 30th May, 2026, we held our annual presentation. This was a great opportunity to celebrate the hard work and dedication of our players for the 2025/2026 season.

Whilst the journey this season has been different for every team and every player, we were blown away by the exemplary attitudes, progress and achievements of all of the children and young people. We are always incredibly grateful to the parents and carers who support our players, encouraging them after matches when they don't take the win, supporting them to attend training and supporting our club.

This season, our Under 14's Titans also won the league for their age band and their coach Gav was incredibly proud as they remained unbeaten across all matches.

During the presentation, we heard from very proud coaches, including Billy Doherty who outlined what each and every player brought to their team this season, showing the in-depth knowledge and care he has for every one of the players on his team.

We are forever grateful to all of our club coaches and assistant coaches. All coaches are volunteers and do this job because they have a passion for the sport and a desire to support children and young people in participating in football in a way that makes them feel proud. As well as this, some of our coaches are also members of our wider committee, supporting with governance and important decision-making that shapes the way the club is run.

This year, we were also able to celebrate the hard work and participation of our Mini Ash Towners - children aged between 3-6 years old who have been attending weekly sports skills sessions.

As an ever-evolving club, some teams will not continue this season as they move on to adult football or different places in their life journey. We wish them all the best in their next steps. However, we are very excited about the upcoming trials for new players and teams and the formation of our brand new under 7's team. The presentation was a wonderful day with over £350 raised for the club through raffles and a tombola. We would also like to thank Ashington Football Club for hosting our event and to Out On The Floor Entertainments for providing our disco (cmunroe@sky.com)
